“You be the Judge” April 2nd

biweekly5 copy

Today marks the start of our last You be the Judge bi-weekly contest. The three paintings that receive the highest number of votes will move on to our final Grand Prize round which will take place in just two weeks! These finalists will be joining the other 12 winners from the four previous bi-weekly contests, making it a total of 15 artists who will be participating in the Grand Prize round. If the totals from the past bi-weekly contests are any indicator for what’s in store for the Grand Prize round, this is sure to be a very close contest! Remember, YOU decide who the winners will be by voting for your favorite painting, so be sure to help support each of these talented artists by casting your vote.

I also want to thank everyone who has participated in the contest by submitting their artwork or voting for their favorite painting. By doing so, each one of you have been a tremendous encouragement to me and have made this contest possible.

Now, here are the final 15 paintings to vote on. Voting for this group will take place from now until 11:59 p.m. EST on Saturday, April 14th.

Below each painting you will find the artist’s name, title, dimensions and medium. There’s also an assigned number for each painting which matches the number and description that you will find in the voting box at the bottom of this page.

Once you’ve viewed all of the paintings and are ready to vote for your favorite, simply follow the instructions at the bottom of this page to cast your vote. Keep in mind that only one vote is allowed per computer, so make it count! At the end of the two week period I’ll add up the totals and award three more digital ribbons to the paintings that receive the highest number of votes.

The Grand Prize round will begin on Monday, April 16th, so be sure to mark your calendars. The artist whose work receives the highest number of votes during this final round will be awarded the Grand Prize package which includes fantastic items from the following sponsors:
