Since posting my last video Mixing Flesh Tones for Painting Portraits on my YouTube channel, I’ve had several artists ask why I use so many colors on my palette. Here’s a new video on mixing color which helps to answer that question and also shows how you can get very similar results by using a limited palette of just four colors plus white. These colors can then be used to mix a variety of flesh tones for painting portraits, as demonstrated at the end of the video.
